4 (All shots): ART2060 Project 3 4.mp4
Hello again!
Here's the breakdown of each of the shots. Most of these were taken in my room/house. I don't know how it keeps happening, but everyone taking classes with me is getting to know my room quite well through all these assignments.
1. Light: I used an overhead IKEA moveable desk light for this, placed it just out of frame to highlight the steam from the mug
2. Colour: This is a shot of my favourite lamp!
3. Frame: Composition one of my favourite things to play around with, so there was a lot of indecision as to what I would do. This is a shot of one of my shelves. I chose to put the ceramic bird in the corner of the golden ratio.
4. Camera Shots:
4a. Zoom: I pestered my brother while he was playing video games.
4b. Pan: I used a tripod for this one! This is my "study" area of my room.
4c. Track: This is my worm on a string scarf. I put my camera on a stool, had my dad pull a string and followed the worm on a string. This was quite tricky to do honestly.
4d. Tilt: I'm a big fan of the dutch angle! Wasn't fully sure what to do, but fortunately I could do yet another shot of my room.
4e. Focus Shift: You might recognize the earrings! And yes, I still have my dinosaur figurines from kindergarten.
4f. Close-up: This is a jewelry box I got in Madeira Portugal.
4g. Wide Shot: This is of my parents bedroom, with the vanity desk and mirror in the center.
I used my own camera for this. It's a EOS Rebel T2i, so it's similar or the same as the universities.
